Flashpaper Films was conceived in 2016 in reflecting on the tribulations artists have faced in telling their stories within the constraints of a gatekept industry. The end-goal should not be telling stories for the industry or by the industry’s rules, but by our own community and for our own community first.

The Flashpaper Films family is growing with more storytellers and allies who ignite fearless representation with fierce talent.
